A morning at the farmers market

We are back at the Saturday market for the summer. Here is what a 5:00 am setup really looks like.

Velvet Glaze stall at a morning farmers market

Velvet Glaze started as a market stall, so coming back every summer feels like coming home. The alarm goes off at 3:30, the van is packed by 4:45, and the first customer usually shows up before the awning is even straight.

Market exclusives

Each week we bring one flavor that is only available at the market, usually made with something from a neighboring stall. Last week it was a lavender glaze using flowers from the herb farm two tables over.
